Hi All...

I finished the Dingo painting and two hours later...it was sold...I had intended it for an entry in an art show. I didn't expect to sell it so fast...so, with it out of the loop... I started on a new painting for the show.

This painting is one I have had on the list for quite some time...
Back in 2014, a professional photographer in the USA, sent me a photo of his cat, Tigger, after I commented that it would make a great subject for a painting.

This one is being to be rendered on a 30" x 30" canvas....
Wicked Acrylics, ... probably,.no airbrushing. All by brush..
There will be fur...lots of fur...this cat is quite large on the canvas..he measures 6" from center eye to center eye.
He is laying on a polished wooden floor, with a slightly mutted refllection of him on the floor...that alone, is going to be a challenge to get right.

The first photo shows the rough sketch I did on the canvas, using a watercolor pencil..

A ways to go yet, but it's getting there...
Cheers
