Geben Sie einfach den Farben im Vordergrund eine leichte "Stärkung".
Just enter the colors in the foreground a light "strengthening".

Hi Dee,
I'm new here, but I do hope this reply finds you well.
Looking over your painting, You got great sense of shape and they look sophisticated yet clean! I really like them! =)
In terms of "flatness" I don't think it's because of your background. I have a few suggestions:

  1. Simplify your lighting - Have a single light source in your painting. That makes your subject much more 3 dimensional.
  2. Push the depth - find the focal point of your painting, loosen up some areas that's not as important. Use softer edges, muted colors and lighting value to separate your subject from the background.
  3. Detail on where matters - I know there are paintings that's highly realistic. But I'd suggest you to reserve detail on what matters, use it as a story telling device, if it enhance the message, use it, if it doesn't do anything, lose it.
  4. Value contrast - Value contrast is another thing that can pop things up. But if it's high contrast everywhere it become noise. Having a distinct single light source can help eliminate that.

hope these helps. Your painting has a specific style so that's not something I want to change. I'm only sharing with you my experience and what I know.

good luck!

Thank you, Ernst. I appreciate your comment.
