Hello and Welcome to the Swap Art Group!

This is where you can make and swap any kind of art, including but not limited to: ATCs, postcards, inchies, twinchies, bookmarks, dolls, jewelry and more!

Visit the SWAP FORUM to learn about current swaps and previous swaps, as well as upload photos of the art you received in a swap!

This forum only appears within this group (and not in the "Forums" link on the paintbrush at the top of each page), so be sure to come back to the Swap Art Group to find the swaps you've signed up for. All of the swaps are posted in this Swap Art Forum. Only the 10 most recent discussions are shown below, but ALL of the discussions can be found in the Swap Art Forum.

IMPORTANT: Click here to learn how to PARTICIPATE in a swap. Please follow the guidelines described as closely as you can.

IF YOU WANT TO HOST A SWAP: Click here to learn how to HOST a swap. Please follow the guidelines described as closely as you can.

Just a few simple guidelines:

  • Please keep all discussions relevant to swapping. Feel free to share tips and techniques related to specific swaps, and to post feedback for others on images that are uploaded.
  • If you are new to swapping, review the Guidelines on How to Participate in a Swap. To sign up for a swap, find that discussion and add your name and address to that thread.
  • If you sign up for a swap, please let the swap host know if you will be unable to follow through for any reason.
  • If you host a swap, review the Guidelines on How to Host a Swap and make sure you are comfortable with them. In your post, be sure to include details such as: theme, size/medium, last date for sign-up, date when swap partners will be posted, and date when pieces should be in the mail. Please post the sign-up list and swap partners in your initial post by clicking "Options" in the upper right of your post, then click "Edit discussion", then add the names to your post. Click the orange "Save" button when you are done.
  • Be friendly and considerate in your posts.

Thanks for joining & have fun!

If you're wondering, "What are ATCs"?

ATCs and ACEOs are small works of art that are 2.5" x 3.5" - the size of an average playing card. You can create them in any media you choose.

ATC stands for "Artist Trading Card" and ACEO stands for "Art Cards Editions & Originals". The only difference between them is that ATCs are intended to be traded (and not sold for profit), while ACEOs are intended to be sold.

Hi Swappers, where did 2017 go?  I have missed my swapping and the challenges and my friendships and the mail in my letterboxes.  I hope you are all well and that the new year of 2018 sees you full of artistic excitement.  I know I certainly need some encouragement and challenges to get motivated this year to do more art, so here I am.  I have joined an ATC swap with Stacy and I have added a Mandala 12 month Postcard swap, which I hope some of you might find interesting to join me in.  I am really looking forward to reconnecting this year.  Sending you lots of virtual hugs and best wishes from the land down under, Marion K

Hi Swap Art swappers,  I just wanted to say  Hello and let you know I am missing my swap art challenges but life has got in the way of any artistic creativity for 2017, for me.  Both my parents have and are unwell and require more support from me.  I will be back but until then know I am missing you all and missing swapping with you.  Marion K

Wishing everyone on TAC a wonderful Festive Season.  Christmas is just around the corner and I have just posted off my final swap for 2016.  See you all in the New Year of 2017.  Stay safe and well, keep smiling, laugh lots and keep creating.

Hello all! I have finally managed to get back here...I swear, I think that the process of trying to live our lives just gets rougher on me, the older I get....or else I just take it harder! LOL! anyway, I have come to throw myself on the mercy of all of my swap friends... I still haven't sent out what I am supposed to send out..Absolute honest truth-I can't afford right now to send out anything, unless I just send out a few regular envelopes...I had you guys all hooked up too...although, my "sweet Tony"will be getting paid soon, and I am going to see if maybe I can get all of this out to you guys!!One way or the other, I will let you all know something...I am so ashamed at not having sent out what I am supposed to...I know you ladies are probably so frustrated with me and the whole thing....I wouldn't blame you if you are...If you would all please let me know what I owe you in return, I will start getting things out as I can...
