Welcome

Hello and welcome to The Comic Art School

Here are some exercises to start with. They are both for beginners and also for more experienced artists.

And you can share your comic art, tips, techniques, tutorials, favorite tools and materials...anything at all to fuel your passion of comic art.

Click here to learn how to upload images into your forum posts (which is important so that people can see your art within the post, rather than as an attachment link beneath your post).

Here are some tips for where to post in the group:

  • If you're just dropping by to say hello and share your latest comic art, you can post in the Show & Tell section by typing into the text box at the bottom of this screen.  The Show & Tell area is best when you aren't necessarily looking for a response to your post.
  • On the other hand, if you want to start a discussion and exchange thoughts and ideas with other members, it's usually best to create a new discussion by clicking the "Add a Discussion" button at the bottom of the Discussion Forum section of this page.

Just a few guidelines:

  • Please keep all discussions relevant to comic art.
  • Be friendly and considerate in your posts.
  • Please respect copyright when posting images. The Art Colony moderators reserve the right to remove any content if there are copyright concerns.  If you have any questions about copyright, please contact one of the moderators.  We're here to help!

Thanks for joining, and most of all, have fun!
