...of colour pencil that is.  Gum-blossoms was my little project of yesterday and last night.  It took me back maybe ten years when I'd taken a photograph of these beautiful native flowers from a Western-Australian eucalypt tree.  Never imagining that one day I would be actually interpreting it on paper this way.

thanks too Jess - if you look very closely - I deliberately left a little heart-shape on the second from left gum-nut (it was almost in there anyway) .... that's how I came up with 'sharing the love". I guess it really needed explaining (red blossoms + heart). Appreciate your feedback.
