What a wonderful piece of pastel work. sadly too many prayers for peace have been ignored and have gone unanswered , there are to many people intent on destruction

Very touching John.  Sadly I do not think there will be peace ever again when looking at the world in a whole but we can at least pray for each other and ask God to watch over the innocent victims and our own inner peace.  I think it has come to a time where we should be all concentrating on where we are going once we leave the world and make our peace with our Lord.

It it is so trajic, and that pain and hurt in this dear lady's eyes is how we all would feel just by looking at the broken world.  So really great painting John and realy makes a person ponder and reflect.
