Another of my coffee break scribbles .A load of the roof fell down with several tonnes of 3 to 4 inch thick concrete slabs have falling down. if we'd been 15 to 20 minutes earlier my wife could have been under it so me being on a go slow could have saved her but did I get a thank no way. One person was suffering from shock due to a near miss and becaude of the ladies age and distress they want to get her checked over but an hour and a half later they're still waiting for an ambulance

I went past the roof fall a couple of hours later there were all these people in suits with day glow jackets and helmet , there was the obvious  gofa  Standing with his hand  in his pockets waiting for the next orders most likely  biscuit  to go with the mugs of coffee  he's  already got. And the one man following orders prodding the roof with a long rod inside the danger zone.

Thank you..If it had been raining I've  no doubt someone would have been killed but as that didnt  happen it gave me something to scribble .

I'm  sure those same suits would have sent the same man across a minefield  with a stick. you can always find another man but you mustn't  get a wrinkly  in the suit

You sure do see different things on a daily bases Paul. Hope your making a diary of them for your grandchildren to have as a a memo. Nice scribbles. H

I'm  just glad no-one was hurt  but at least it gave me something for my daily scribbles. I do think they should shut all the undercover area until it's had a a full inspection and they should  have protected walkways to each shop. but it's down to the accountants building repair costs against personal  injury costs
