Art Exhibit

Posted on October 21, 2011 at 9:08pm 1 Comment

Hi to all.  A few months back I shared that I had submitted 3 of my abstract paintings for an art exhibit here in AZ.  Well, 1 of them was accepted for the exhibit. The show will be on Nov 4.  I am just a little excited about this.  Thanks to every one that has given me support with my paintings.  I will let you know how it goes.

I followed Ann Marie's lead!!

Last month I submitted my paintings to a art gallery for a solo show, which will not open until next year, waiting for an answer on that show and I, just this morning, submitted 3 paintings to another art exhibition that will be opening in November. It really is OK if they do not make the cut, just the fact that I submitted them is a really big step for me. I, like Ann Marie, never thought or even imagined I would get to this place as an artist but so glad that I have!!

Sorry I wasn't clear enough the 25 X 40 is there but what are you measuring in - inches or cms? The UK uses metric and imperial measures - confusing.

Wow - I like the Flame of Love and Life the best. But they're all stunning. Can you specify the measurements i.e. 25 X 40 what? I'm pretty sure these look even better in the flesh, shame you're not round the corner. The first three would benefit - in terms of viewing - if they were either in situ(like the Flame of Love and Life) or had a definite contrasting boarder round them. Because I think they get lost in the black background, rather than standing out as themselves - that's just my opinion though. Their size would also stand out more. Great work - want to see more.
