"Hi Brian, thanks so much for your wonderful comment on my Bailey portrait. I sure enjoyed drawing him. I do think he looks much cuter in person though! He's quite a little character! I always appreciate you taking the time to view my artwork…"

"Fantastic work, Brian! I like that you used various colors in this to make this downtown scene look very busy. Also I like all the cars and the people around. Well done!"

Hi Brian thank you for your lovely comments on my art work it seems to have been for ever since I last showed any art work lol, I use the Bristol Vellum 500 for most things pastel, coloured pencil etc, I have even painted on it in acrylic, I layer a lot with both pastels pencils and coloured pencils and it just seems able to carry on taking the layers thank you again all the best Pat

Hi Brian, re the plate of Poinsettias, It was painted on  MDF,  the flowers and ribbon etc was based in white first before using the reds. I then painted the green quite a few times sanding with wet and dry sandpaper between coats I wipe off any green that went on the white with a damp cloth. The style is folk/decorative art which I learn t many  years ago. You will videos on youtube  for that style...Thank you for lovely comments again and for the friend's invite
