Still the best place here

Posted on July 11, 2012 at 10:06am 4 Comments

A compliment to the people who are working so hard on this side :-). It is still my favorite place. I joined a german forum, which of course is very useful for me on the practical side and I get good tips from it.

But I love the art colony because there is such a variety of artists and beautiful paintings. And nice people. The german site is more conservative in the art, maybe it has something to do with it, that here we are people from all over the world with different cultural…

The picture finds me

There are different way to approach painting.

One of the most exciting for me is when I start a painting without having any idea, except maybe the colors I want to use. I just scratch and paint and somehow a background appears or a motive. Drawing

I think people are right when they say drawing is…

Patience and patience...

Posted on November 26, 2011 at 4:49am 3 Comments

Right now I am trying to learn some different techniques instead of just going ahead. It is frustrating sometimes because it never comes out as I want it but I keep thinking it will be for my benefit. I think am getting a little ambitious now that I realize I may have some potential. And I am curious about all the possibilities. So I just keep going and wait for my next masterpiece :-). But it is not as easy as I thought. I hope on the way I will find my own style.

Jazz: Everyone has potential as you are finding out. Exploit yours to the fullest and do not worry whether your work comes out as you planned. That is the nature of art....the unexpected.
