"I have heard of people mixing kitty litter with paint, also...not the big chunky kind (and obviously clean litter! gross!). I personally haven't done it, but...maybe worth a try for texture of some sort."

"Yes, Starr, it would.  And, if you apply it like real frosting, kind of lifting up each stroke, it would totally look like frosting. Cool! "

"yes, that's how I personally would try it.  Another thing to try, you could thin out some modeling paste and dip the sea sponge in that. It would give an actual texture to it. You can color the modeling paste with acrylic paint."

"I use alot of stamps (rubber) - I have found them at Michaels and Hobby Lobby, even walmart carries the really inexpensive ones now. Michael's has those little ones that are only $1 for the entire alphabet - I must have 20 different sets - love…"
