"Thank you for the lovely comments & likes on this painting. I was unfortunately unable to be in the spring show because I had to have emergency surgery, I sure hate cancer, it interferes with the joys of living. Soon I hope to put it all behind…"
I'm pleased that you like my garden gallery . With the coats of yachting varnish the paintings should be good for about 10 years in a weather's. If it's ok for a boat in sea water a garden fence should be ok
Hi Diana, thank you so much for your beautiful comment on my painting and the like too. I appreciate it. I think the WS oils are somewhat different from the traditional oils. They tend to dry faster, in half the time, and you may or may not need to use linseed oil for thinning. Sometimes just water is fine especially at the beginning stages of your painting. They make linseed oil just for these WS oils and I would buy that occasionally. The best part about them is that they clean up with just soap and water, no turps. I stopped using the traditional oils after I bought the WS ones. They're are just so much easier and the quality is just as good. You might want to give them a try since you already have them there. You might enjoy them!
