You are welcome Dorothy, I don't have much free time. But I do like to visit the gallery on TAC. Some art work, when you see it...it connects to something inside you...the colours or light or the cleaness of it...for me, you have all three...I find your artwork quite stunning.

thanks for you comment on my breezy day . status quo were the first group I saw back in 1974 a girl who joined my group of friends had a problem with the wind . she  loved the 1970s fashion of stacked shoes and wide flares. we knew her for 6 month before being Invited to her parent house where we found out she was much shorter than she normally appeared  in the hallway there were pairs of 7 and 8 inch platforms her true hight was 4ft 7inch so trying move about in a breeze was a difficult rebalancing act

There are a number of ballads from different industries and ways of life and I thought they were well made with the stories and linking songs.. I've no doubt that a lot of the steel from your plant ended up on the ford production lines.  I was on maintenance  so kept well away from production. I hadn't  thought to look on YouTube and will have a look to see if there are more that were missed on Spotify

Best wishes paul

Hi Dorothy . What you've done sounds like what was used to go with the ballads , but this one was based around the Sheffield steel works with former worker and their families talking about the job, the way of life  , the danger and the effect on the family . there are a wholes series of these that were run on radio 2 with ballads  in between. I found it fascinating

For a number of years My dad poured  molten metal to make engine blocks and told  enough horror stories of split molds and  accidentally poundings to me out of the foundry but I ended up in fords big Dagenham car plant
