"Lindsay, the height of the easel doesn't matter as much as the height of the rack that the canvas or baord is held on when you paint. Taller easels are good for bigger canvases, but only if they are relatively stable (and to be stable enough…"

first time buying an easel...

I have a few questions about buying my first easel...I want an easel I can take different places, and do live drawings at shows, parties or even outside in a park. What kind of easel would you recommend? Also, I am 5' 7"... which means I'm 67" tall. So, how tall of an easel should I get? One that is taller than me? Or does that matter? I found a cheaper easel at A.C. Moore that is only 65" tall.. I'm not sure if they will be the right height for me. Any advice, resource links or suggestions…See More

"I think it looks great, but I also have a big thing for metallics, and think some metallic gold or bronze, etc would look great with the eye mask to really dress it up! Just my idea,......"

Mardifly!

Not quite a butterfly..  not quite a mardi gras mask. Either way, its part of a beautiful transformation. :DI drew this with colored pencils and sharpies. I'm looking for a way to add a little more umph to it.. it seems to be kinda flat. any suggestions?!(Also, this is a scan and has come out darker than it really is..)See More
