I feel so new!

Hi!  My name is Rebecca.  I am also known by my nickname, Kwee.  I am painfully shy.  Its often a lot easier for me to express myself in Art than in words.  I live in a kind of small town.  There are no Art groups near me.  There is a museum, about 25 miles away.  I do most all of my connecting online.  I'm on Facebook, but I wanted to be able to have better connection with others who share my interest and passion for Art and creating it.  Thank you!

Hi Rebecca...thanks agian for the comments on my landscapes....yes I use acrylic paint and dry brush where possible to soften as well as blending when still wet to get that soft soft colour mix.

Thanks again

John

thanks Rebecca   the secret to drawing fur is to fool the eyes of the viewer and cats are all about overlaying the next section, just as in life. Of course, eyes are all important but most  important of all is practice, practice, and more practice. I'm getting there and I'm sure you will too. Have a good day     Ed

Thanks for you kind comments on my recent posts. I was surprised when you said you watched Dr Martin as I didn't think Martin clunes humour traveled so well internationally.

I only took up watercolour last year but still struggling with it because I'm not to keen on any type of planning of a painting , I'm happier with acrylics where I can keep overpainting. I keep plugging away and I'm a lot more happier with watercolours now

Thanks for your friend invite! This is such a fun website and great to enjoy all the wonderful people here! Nice of you to like the "Licking the spoon" as it was preety roughly drawn with new Copics. I feel lost with them? More at home with my pastels, which make me sneeze!!
