"Don't Throw That Out!"

I used love to take things apart, and put them back together in a way more appealing, or interesting to me.  Jewelry, lamps, clocks, etc...  I haven't done this in quite some years, until recently.  I am now remembering how much I love it, and hope to have something I am proud to post here soon.  One piece I am working on now is my "Upside Down" lamp.  I try to use only "recycled" materials, mostly because that is a big part of what makes me enjoy it.  I think that comes from my Father's need… READ MORE

First Entry!

It is fantastic to be able to be with the start of the Art Colony.  It comes at a time when I am working to get back into the swing of things with regards to making art.  I am currently take an online course called the Art of Action, intended to help us find the way to "doing", making action happen.  The first steps were to write out goals, and one of mine was to find new ways to connect with the artist world.
