I have started my body of work for Art School, this is quite exciting but also a challenge. Working on twice the size i have been working for my ink drawings. I be honest it looks more than twice the size the Khina Plywood i m working on. 8 hrs in and doesn't seem like i made much of a dent, this is a new challenge and after months working at half the size its something i m trying to adjust to and add more regular breaks but also breaking up time i m spending in a session working on the work. I am hoping that this will help combat this until i m used to working on the larger scale. Working with a simple style that becomes detailed in its own right and repetitiveness does require quite a bit of time. Working on 30x45cm board average time is 10-15 hrs and now working on a 60x45cm board, i m predicting its going to be at least 20 and maybe up to 30hrs. Also working on simplifying the pattern works is testing the patience, hopefully end result will be worth it .

very interesting - i wish that i had done something like that in the past.

about your current project - just sneak up on it, baby steps, don't think about the ending, just bit by bit and you will look up and - voila!

remember to post it here when you're done. i'd love to see it.
