ok -- jumping in here with both feet.  Have rarely posted any of my art (outside of my photography) in any type of forum, although I've been painting now for about 15 or so years.  Have tried acrylics, but always return to watercolour as I like to watch the colour burst into life as it hits the water.  While I will try just about any subject (although, 'portrait' may have had its one and only attempt), I prefer 'botanicals'. Since we moved house 5 years ago, I have not picked up a paint brush to paint anything other than walls and have only just begun to paint for pleasure again in the last few months.  Thank you in advance for viewing my work,  I am always happy to receive constructive criticism to improve my skills.

At least jumping in with both feet means you land safely, your painting works for me,the lemons are edible and the flowers are rich and realistic.
