now how much rubbing out of pencil line is the on your word because there doesn't appear to be much or is  it  a matter of how confident in how good you are.. you should see the amount of just started picture that I have where I get the starting scale wrong .if I did in pencil and then went over with ink it wouldn't come out right because I'm terrible at going over pencil work  I can't get those people who draw something out  on canvas before staring work I just can't work that way  everything has to be free handed painting.

after a few people said my scribbles look like some of Roald Dahl pictures so never seeing any i looked up the illustrater Quentin blake who does everything with a dip in ink pen

most of my outdoor paintings are done  using a uni-ball pen I rarly bother with pencils. a 12 colour travel paint set  a few of the water brushes that hold their own water  and most of the time the brushes aren't cleaned between colour changes

I think now your use of colour Is better than ever and they certainly jump out  of the page. . your other work has bee  great as well and I'm sure there has been some frantic scribbling colouring them in by others in the group.

I alway refer to them as scribbles and splats is that I rarly spend more 10 to 15 minutes on them encluding the painting and I normally have a cup of coffee in the other hand while I'm scribbling away

Thanks for the like and comment Nelson on Underwatercolor. Not masking fluid on the weeds Nelson, something much simpler, good old H20,water!If you can imagine the fish gone, and the page turned upside down, little rivers of clear water running down the page(much like rain running down a window pane, and how it makes it's own patterns) Now just add colors of your own choice and see were it takes you! It was an experiment, which I love doing & keeps things fresh for me. Hope this helps, take care,P.J.

I think you're producing better work now than you've ever done especially you coloured work..  I'm on the other slope apart from a few scribbles I'm not doing much

Thank you for your welcome, Nelson. I was really scared to post my art since it wasn't traditional. Your comments have been a confidence booster for me. Thanks again.

it was a good job you carried on because it turned out great.  it's good to go down a different road occasionally  because sometime you get to like it...i disliked watercolour  painting for the first 2 to 3 month but I can be a bit stubborn a beat it in to submiss.  I don't think I follow all the rules of watercolouring but who cates i don't like rule books anyway.. lol

Thanks Nelson for commenting on my bananas, they are indeed apple bananas. Never had one though. We used to grow red bananas when I lived in Uganda..
