Another update of my cat painting...

I rendered the right side of his face and his nearside leg.
The leg will be finalised, once I have the rest of his body in place.
I blocked in the under painting of his ears and have started mapping in the details, starting with the ear on the right.
I will finish the ears today and then move down to the body section.
What makes him look a bit odd, is the lack of whiskers....I will add them last.
The polished wooden floor section will be a big challenge to get right.
I have a small practice canvas ready, to test out how to render the floor correctly.
Hours of work so far - 34
It is all a very slow process, but it's starting to come together...
