Hi Ruth Other organizations participate and it is called the State St. Stroll. Our proceeds go to fund our programs. I am not getting any benifits except knowing someone bought something I painted. My three sons all live in other states so
I don't have anyone close to photograph my art but I am working on a solution. Thanks for writing.
Jean I know how you feel about someone liking your art cards well enough to buy them. I made a special one for a friend of ours whose wife had passed and he was so appreciative. He even called to tell me he put it on top of the cards he recieved so when the kids came they could see it. That always makes the effort worth while.
Hi Wanda Thanks for responding. I really enjoyed making those card. Are you still making cards? If so I would love to hear how .you do yours. I can't really draw well so abstract works well for me. Would love to try mrlting crayons for a design but I live in an assisted living facility and have only one working hand so don't dare to try stuff like that. Have a wonderful Thanks giving. Jean
Hi Jean, I am somewhat limited with my right hand, arm, shoulder due too an bad fall. I can work ok on low tables.
I have access to a computer and printer so I make pictures of my drawings or paintings, scan them into the computer and print on card stock. I use to do the fancy glueing and writings but can't do that anymore.
I have learned that when one ability is no longer possible, we find what we can do and be successful at that. You are on the right track and I know it brings you many hours of pleasure..Keep up the good work. I love doing abstract too!!
