Welcome to the monthly theme for November

Artwork and comments welcome from everyone!!!!

This month's theme is - Doors

Please post your finished artwork in this discussion thread.

These should be new pieces completed with this theme in mind.

I can't wait to see how you interpret this - abstract, realistic, collage etc... so many opportunities for all.

This is a picture of a salvaged door I have screwed to my fence. I call it the Door to Infinite Possibilities; because it doesn't open, what is on the other side is only restricted by your imagination!

Nice Jo, good idea!  I wanna know what's behind that door...lol

You tell me! What's behind it right now? Your imagination Pat!

You have me laughing. You should name it "Take a Walk on the Wild Side". ..I would say if I opened it, there would be the most beautiful view I ever saw. Where's this door, I want to open it?...lol

It's in my garden! Lol!

Well your garden is to far from me so I'll never know..lol

Very curious !! Lovely color !

Here's a photo of the actual thing!

That looks great ,Jo  It might be interesting, some time in the future, having a page where one can post photos next to the art. This is a great way to recycle stuff found in odd places. I found a beautiful Moroccan vegetable dyed carpet in a skip.It was a litle damp in one corner and the dye had run a little . I had it cleaned and passed it onto a friend that now has it in her tepee and it looks beautiful !!

Love them both Jo, your painting, having the tangling on it and the bright colors, and the 'actual thing' which is nice and idyllic in my eyes.

Thanks Sharon and Dez! I've loved creating our garden! Lots of heavy work but worth the effort!

You have given us all ideas and our husbands are going "Great News" lol We are thinking of putting a fence up here and I just may go and hit some of the salvage places around here.  Just as long as there is no Purple People Eater.  Do you remember that song or are you too young to remember that song. lol
