I am just starting to do more mixed media collages and this would provide info and inspiration.
This book looks great I'd love to step up my collage skills if I win!
I would love the opportunity to share this with my students! I teach 2nd grade right now, but an hoping for an art teacher position (again!). :) If I won this book, I would definitely use it with my students! I am always looking for ways to "upcycle" and "recycle" different things we have. LOVE the photos and already have some ideas!!
Thanks for the chance to win!! :)
i want to add one more medium in my painting techniques and i will use this book to create one dream project of mine......
I would like to win this book because, while I love making art with found objects, I don't use that form of media often enough. I feel like this book would help give me some new ideas and help me improve my art with collaging and found objects.
I would like to have this book because I love collaging and scrapbooking and when I travel I always bring things from those places and it would be the prefect way to have a memory from every place...also I love arts and crafts and this will help me to be a creative person.
I would love to win this great Collage book because I teach challenged and handicapped young people art and I am always looking for interesting activities for them to do.During the last lesson I gave I asked them what they liked doing so we could incorporate that into future art sessions and they said they all liked op-shopping. I immediately thought "Great collages and boxes with material and found objects" So I am sure this book would be well used and they would really get a kick out of me telling them that I had won it!
I work with adults who are disabled. Found objects represent a free resource for creating art. Our budget is pretty tight and making art with found objects is a wonderful place to start. I would use this book to help my adult disabled clients participate in more art making. I am a recreational activities director at an Adult Day Center in Oklahoma. Oklahoma governance would like to eliminate any funding for art, I am not joking. Art will not be stopped no matter what the polititians do or don't do. Making great art with found objects will be my objective use of this book. In fact I would photograph the art created with the help of this guide to making "Artful Collage from Found Objects" and post the works produced on "the Art Colony" for all to see.
I would like to win this book sense I think it would be quite helpful in branching out in my work and thus be helpful when I hold work shops to teach the younger artists and those who also want to add something exciting to their work. Thank you for this opportunity.
