Greetings!

I have been doodling like this for a very long time indeed. However, I didn't know that they were called 'Zentangles' and also that they could help improve one's state of mind.

Naturally, I am very intrigued by this book which promises to combine art and Zen as I am deeply interested in both and I would love to read it and make full use of it.

I would like to use it to add a bit of zing to normal, everyday objects. I'm thinking photo-frames and bulletin boards and carnival decorations for my school.

I would also like to thank Art Colony for giving us this opportunity.

I would love to win this book for inspiration for new designs.  So often I hit a literal blank wall while drawing .....this book would be a reference to kick start my process. Keeping my fingers crossed . . . .

I've always loved to doodle!  This book would give me so many new techniques and ideas.  I teach 3rd grade, I would love to develop a "coloring/marker" book for my students, or even for adults that are facing an illness in a hospital.

I just started Zentangling and would love to learn more!

i would love to win this book becoz i wholeheartedly loves the techniques of Zentangle.

Of all the types and styles of art Zentangles have always eluded me. I just never know where to start or where to go once I start. This book would be invaluable to me. I teach art and would love to be able to introduce my students to the joys of this form of expression. Thank you.

I would really enjoy learning about zen tangles. I design mandalas so zen tangles would be a new craft to learn and use. I do hope I win!!!! : )

I am wanting to be more creative and I would love to make Zentangles.  Winning this book would make my day!

I am always looking for ways to help my patients nurture their creativity. This would be perfect!

Zentangles re-ignited my creative spirit. After the death of my father, I couldn't paint or draw. One day I was flicking through some art stuff on the web and came across Zentangles. I picked up my pencil and 'just started'. Before I knew it, I was creating these beautiful 'somethings' that were 'nothing-in-particulars'! I've introduced my grand daughter to zentangles because she said she couldn't draw "like Nanna". I'd like to give her this book to encourage her to discover the artist I believe exists in everyone.

I have spent many hours doodling over the years but this book would inspire actual "doodle art".  Thanks for the opportunity and have a joyful day in the Lord.

"Why would I like to win this book?"

I love to zentangle.  My best friend is just starting out zentangling. I would offer this as a gift to her to lite up her creative fire.  I would of course borrow this book from time to time to get my creative mojo lit up also.
