I would like to win this book so that I can improve my drawing skills and use those skills to make a difference in the lives of those around me who want to learn to draw but cannot afford private art classes, as well as doing artwork for animal rescue groups to help raise funds for those organizations!

I would like to know the ways to layer with coloured pencils and how to create good shadows with them and so much else to make a brilliant coloured pencil painting.

I think I am addicted to art instruction books.  I love to read them and try the techniques that are presented.  I use colored pencils almost exclusively. As a beginner, I find that achieving a certain shine produced by the lighting around and on a subject is extremely difficult (at least for me).  I keep looking for the perfect book to help me.  This seems to be one.

I would love to win this great book, and explore new ways to make great art!

I have TONS of colored pencils, all kinds (regular and watercolor).  I'm not sure just how to use them but I have been dying to learn.  I have checked out various YouTube videos but it is not the same as having a beautifully illustrated book in front of you.  I hope I win so I can learn how to use ALL of these pencils!!!!

I have trouble learning from You Tube.  It is either going to fast or stopping to buffer.  There are tons of web sites that help, but, like you, I love to read and learn from a book.

I like to win this book because I like to develop my skils and teach to others.I have lots of pencils crayons and everything but I don't know how to use it. There is  no facilities to learn art and proper instructors also not available. So this book for me 'A GREAT BOOK'.

To explore, To create, To learn, To make people aware about art, To stress out, To enjoy, To spend time , To try, To develop,

There is no words to tell more than this.

I would live to win this book to expand my teaching abilities. I have encountered a special needs student at my school who enjoys Art and is quite talented. With the knowledge I co I could obtain from the book and the book itself I could help her improve her artist talents as well as my other students.
I would love to win this book, I love the way you can get coloured pencil drawings to look like oil. I have just bought some draft film so want to try it out on that. I would love to do landscape .

I would love to win this book!! Reason being I have only ever really worked with graphite but I am really wanting to incorporate some colour into my work, but have always been afraid! This book may just be the inspiration I need to get me started in the wonderful world of colour!! Blessings P :)

Oh, yes, yes, yes I want the book - I love to sketch with colored pencils and this would be an opportunity to learn even more about how to use them.  Thanks and have a joyful day.
