I have a nice sized set of prismacolor pencils, however, whn I m sharpening them there is ALOT of broken lead in the pencil. Anyone else having this issue and have a solution??

I have heard that you can heat them gently, either on a heating pad or in the microwave, to "melt" the lead in the pencil. You have to watch carefully so you don't overheat and melt the lead out of the pencils.
