Welcome to the monthly theme for May. Artwork and comments welcome from everyone!!!!

This month's theme is - Flower Power (suggested by Nelson)

The theme is open to all artists whatever your medium.

Please post your finished artwork in this discussion thread.

Feel free to post new or old artwork as long as it pertains to this theme.

Please remember to use the picture icon above text box to add images and not the attachment below. Click here for instructions on how to add an image to your forum post. This is important if you want people to be able to see your artwork!

I can't wait to see how you interpret this - painting, drawing, collage etc... so many opportunities for all.

This 1960's retro wallpaper adorned our kitchen walls for around 10 years(10 years too long). It was painted with Winsor and Newton Water mixable oils.  Interesting to use.

Thank you Nelson. The next 10 years our house was stripes.  I am not sure which was worse!

Cute, dainty and beautiful.  Very nice.

I'm looking after my granddaughter who has chicken pox and is very sore , she's doing a card on a footballers themed for her other granddad who's in hospital and as I dislike all things football I thought I'd do Mary Mary with her cockle shell, bells and little maids. It's a bit unusual a little girl doing football and me doing nursery rhymes but who care my granddaughter will take the picture home anyway
