I can't wait to see how you interpret this - abstract, realistic, collage etc... so many opportunities for all.

I like to buy the plastic pumpkins available at Michaels.  I use a hot electric knife to cut out the holes.  I always cut the bottom of the pumpkin.  I buy the battery-operated little lights for making it glow.

Here is a pastel I did of Nosferatu

OHooooo I love this !!!! One of my favorite films, still gives me the creeps !!!

I started this with a little painting I did on card stock.  It was done with pen & ink and Genisis oils .. I then scanned the little thing into my computer just to see what I could come up with .. and you all know how it is when you get going .. one thing led to another and I ended up designing a book cover for a non-existent book!!!  Anyway .. it is my work for the "October Theme" ... using my pumpkin man and a photo of the magic castle from Disney that I took on a trip there ...thanks for peeking in.   Hugs...Charlie

This is another piece that is a combination of traditional and digital .. the pumpkin and the leaves were all done traditionally, in watercolor .. then, scanned into the computer ... the face was added, as was the hat and the background and other embellishments.  Love to play around, combining traditional and digital work .. Hugs...Charlie

Brilliant,Charli !! It's so amazing to me,the power of creativeness one can achieve with the computer !!
