Welcome to the monthly theme for OCTOBER

Artwork and comments welcome from everyone!!!!

This month's theme is - GOOSEBUMPS

The theme is open to all artists whatever your medium.

Please post your finished artwork in this discussion thread.

These should be new pieces completed with this theme in mind.

Please remember to use the picture icon above text box to add images and not the attachment below. Click here for instructions on how to add an image to your forum post. This is important if you want people to be able to see your artwork!

To add your artwork, please use the "Reply to Discussion" box at the bottom of the page, NOT the "+ Add" button at the top of the page. (Otherwise your artwork will not show up in this thread.)

If you want to comment on someone's submission please do so here.

I can't wait to see how you interpret this - abstract, realistic, collage etc... so many opportunities for all.

Charlie, This is beautiful. And what wonderful color and design work, perfect balances.  I love the purple fabric with all the subtle patterns and folds.  Very marketable too.

I so hope I am posting my replies correctly..gulp*

This is another piece that is a combination of traditional and digital .. the pumpkin and the leaves were all done traditionally, in watercolor .. then, scanned into the computer ... the face was added, as was the hat and the background and other embellishments.  Love to play around, combining traditional and digital work .. Hugs...Charlie

Here is another jack-o-lantern carving.  Not too spooky but fun.  Lit up and carved from white pumpkin (plastic).

Just a little computer fun .. this is a digital painting that I did of Johnny Depp as "Barnabas Collins" ... I don't know about any of the other women in the group ... BUT ... Johnny Depp can give me goosebumps any time his little heart desires .. as Barnabas or as himself!!!!  :>O

these are so cool did you use Dremel tools?

O. K.  This is my third try at a response.  I use woodburning tools that include a knife blade which cuts throught the plastic like butter.
