I found this picture of a Colorful Bird online at http://www.amusingtruth.com/unusual-insects-and-animals-that-are-na... I drew and colored him using colored pencils, gel ink, and sharpies to add depth. 

I love horses and was thrilled that the September theme is animals. It gave me an excuse to do this painting that I have had in my head for some time now. I drew the horse about a year ago and have been wanting to do a painting of him for some time now. The painting is done in acrylics.

My Salamander was made with regular floor tiles on plywood.
