I have a question for you...I have not tried resin yet because I wonder about it getting brittle or cracking as it ages.  Have you noticed that happening at all?

No, it has not or won't. The resin I use is made for artwork. So it won't yellow or crack. It can just be dusted with furniture polish occasionally. I use Envirotex Lite you can get it at Michaels. I coat all of my paintings. So if you really want to do it I can answer any questions you may have. It is best to start with a small piece so it won't be as intimidating. Once you do and see the end result you will be hooked.

I actually have a box of Environtex Lite but have been scared to try it! What about glare?  Is it a problem at all?

No not at all.  It actually makes my colors more vibrant.! You will also need a propane torch you can get at any hardware store. This is the most effective way to get the air bubbles out. Blue multi surface painter's tape. A level. Wood stir sticks, disposable cups, rubber gloves, and a face mask

wondering if you are till on here and if you could walk me through covering a canvas with resin.  I have used resin when covering an item with a lip, but not a flat canvas.  thank you
