I'm not seeing a group for comics and/or "sequential art". I've considered starting one since that's an area of interest that I'm looking to learn and improve on, but I'm also not seeing an option for starting a new group.

Is creating a new group not something that normal members are allowed to do, am I too new to have that option available to me, or is it there and I'm just missing it completely?

Hi C. Andrew,

Only moderators can start groups, but before we start a new group, we like to see if there is a demand for it. You can add your suggestion to this thread - http://community.art-is-fun.com/forum/topics/ideas-for-groups

The groups on TAC tend to be a little quiet in terms of activity - even the groups that have been here since the beginning and have a few hundred members. It would be wonderful if there was more activity in the groups, but since they can be so quiet, we like to make sure there is enough interest before starting a new one.

Thank you for your suggestion!
