Because I lived in this house as a child and because I reallllly need the practice, I thought I'd start this drawing. I barely have any ink on it yet, but you get the idea. So many details to add too!! Architecture is so not my forte`. Any suggestions, tips, constructive criticism, comments are very welcomed and appreciated.

There will eventually be tons of greenery in the background and I fully intend to watercolor it as I did my other Eureka Springs piece.

I love this house!  I can't wait to see the finished product!

Many of the homes there are extremely colorful. When I lived here it was painted in blues, but my sister tells me its got a lot of red in it now. Anxiously awaiting photos so I can continue the details. I am incredibly impatient and hate leaving anything unfinished lol Thanks for looking! :D

Very nice start V, can't wait to see the finished product!

Me too Pat! I just got photos now so I can get in there and add all the details! (ha it sure looks run down and small now)

A few more details added...I am askew here and there and everywhere, but I'm hoping its not too noticeable and I can hide a multitude with paint! lol xD

Ever changing this n that...Got lots more to add too!

Wow V, turning in to a beauty! I wish I could draw like you have me wanting to see the finished product

:D its pretty big at 12X18 and I don't seem to have the room to fit all that I want in it lol I know it looks busy, but I actually toned it down from what you'd see if you were to drive the historic loop there. Honestly, this is the first time I have attempted a home/house/building as the main focus because my perspective skills are so lacking, so I really appreciate the compliment!!

That is a biggie!  You're perspective skills are not

The dreaded "ugly" stage of a drawing lol... Just a bit of color started

Nice V, keep

This is wonderful Valerie! I'm going to be keeping an eye on your progress! What are you colouring with at this stage above? What kind of pen are you using for your inkwork? It's so delicate!
