I'm looking for a good professional quality watercolor tray set and wanted to know what other watercolor artists use, recommend, and where they purchased them.

I use a make called White Knights which are artist quality, come in full pans and don't cost the earth. I love them. The colours are bright and hold their vividness if you want that in your painting. They have honey in them and so lift off the pans easily, less hard on brushes than some are.

hi. hey i'm answering because i just bought white knight watercolours on recommendation from an artist who does the loveliest work on flowers and animals. they haven't arrived yet but i'm excited. my friend said the colours are nice - pinks and golds for flowers and the transparency is good too!

cool eh. they were about $40.00 for a set of 12 full pans. yah!
