I am in a resting spot, but am now ready to do some more art, but don't know exactly what. If you can do several different medias, have varied interests, and all of the supplies you need for any of the methods you know how to do, how do you decide what to do next? How do you prioritize? Curious to hear from other artists on this one..

I hate my internet service...I never can see your pictures. =P I have so little time that I take care of obligations first. Then I walk around trying to make up my mind what to do next....until I run out of time again LOL

I've settled on oils, so I don't have the same problem, but for me it's what to paint next...landscape, still life, try a portrait, and whatever I choose I start to get impatient with and want to move on to the next painting, especially if it is taking longer than expected, or is not working out as well as I want. In theory I should finish every painting in one session...easier said than done sometimes.
My approach is also not helping me improve, in that I don't master something before moving on to the next painting. My next paintings will be 3 landscapes, including all the elements I typically have problems with, trees and grass especially. I'm going to paint the same scene 3 times. I should improve and learn from one to the next, that's the idea anyway. I would think by the third one I would be confident and loose.
I guess we all have our barriers to get over, good luck with yours.
