I am trying to learn how to blend color pencils and I am not doing a good job. Does anyone have any tips on blending?
Thanks....Tina

I saw this on Pinterest the other day Using baby oil to blend colored pencil. I haven't tried this technique yet but it sounds interesting.

I have used it a few times and it works great! http://community.art-is-fun.com/photo/planets-1?context=user
Another tip is layering, lots and lots of layering. I find the vids of the frugal crafter very helpfull, f/e this one:

A blending stump would help, I would think.
I use blending stumps and Gamsol. I've tried baby oil and even Vaseline but don't care for either. I just bought some Natural Turpenoid to try. It's supposed to be the non toxic version of Gamsol.
I would use a blending stump or some baby oil. though only one is required for my shop!
