thanks roberta, are you an accomplished artist? i'll have a look at your work in a minute. i appreciate your comment, and that you took the time to look at my art. i'm doing something every day, so i should improve gradually, is that what you would expect? i know nothing, so far, but i'm reading and practising.

Hi,

I am a beginner just like you and I have been drawing now for about a year. My things are still rough but I keep on plugging. My creativity comes in spurts and I find I enjoy taking pieces from one area and adding it to another to bump up interest.

The goal is to get better in your own time, doing it your own way. I use a lot of reference books and guides to help me with technique and colors. It has proved very valuable to me since I am self teaching. Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing more.

thanks roberta, for answering me. i can't believe you are self-teaching. me too, and i know how. i am a teacher, heavens. so we'll look for each other's work. i'l check and see that we are friends, so i remember to look at your posts regularly. i'm a bit fuzzy in the head. i'm on heavy drugs - methadone, etc. - so, i need prompts. see you around the art colony. i really like your work. it's fantastic for only a year. well done you.
