I've just started to change from watercolour to doing brighter painting and more what I call direct art and feel it tends to lean towards Folk art? I've been doing it with watercolour and would rather stick to that than change to Acrylic, what does everyone think? can this be done successfully...? Regards Barbara.  Cullen

I'm very happy with this form of art, it makes me feel really relaxed and happy.. the ones depicted above are mainly pen and wash, but also mixed media using gel pens...Regards. Barbara Cullen
