I call this one "Gods Country." It is a 16 X 20 oil on canvas.  love the lush scenery of Oregon and Washington.

Lovely work, Beverly! Did you paint this from a photo, or from memory or from your imagination? I like the misty/foggy effect in the background. Nice job on the flowing water. This painting has a nice softness to it. Thank you for sharing!

Thank you Thaneeya. I painted this one from memory and my imagination. I live in an area that it doesn't take long to go look at a scene just like this one.

Makes me want to live nearby, just to hear the soft tumbling of the waterfall, and absorb as much as I can from nature.
Fantastic work Beverly, I agree with Thaneeya, that misty background adds more credibility to the work, and an ethereal/surreal ambience.
Looking forward to see more of your landscapes :)

what more can i say but... WOW...and its not even near enough...this wonderful...i love the rolling misty fog...

Thank you so much,,, I am humbled. Yes I was going for a peaceful ambience in this one.

Super Beverly - Like Thaneeya I like the misty atmosphere and the gentleness of it. Perfect nature painting. The colours are lovely :)

Thank you so much...

Beautiful!! I love the misty softness to it!!!  I would love to be able to sit by the water and relax or sketch. Great work! :)

Thank you so much, I am truly humbled.

What a beauty! I really love your waterfall....seeing yours has helped me figure out how to do mine! I have been shying away from waterfalls but I have studied other art with them and now yours so I think I will go out on a limb and try it!
