WOW! This is stunning!

That's a lovely portrait no matter what the circumstance. I often find myself shedding a few tears when painting a pet the clients tell has passed away.

What medium did you use, Danette Malerich?  That is a beautiful piece!

This is Alli who was diagnosed with cancer. I was asked to do a remembrance portrait before she passed. I am honored and humbled to be able to create an image that will be treasured. I often think of the relationship these owners have with their beloved pet.

Beautiful portrait Merrie....This is a remembrance portrait I did of my Teggy. she died when she was 16 years old. the significance is that she is leaving the world she has known ( leaving the picture ) where the sun is setting on her life. stepping into the new world across the rainbow bridge. the sun is rising on the new horizon . Also I mixed some of her ashes into the sand that is on the table so that she will always be part of the picture for me.
