From now on I shall be posting more and more Works In Progress, as WIPs could be of interest to other sculptors too.
Finished artworks can be seen at my own site http://www.pulpart.net. I love your comments and likes though, but the Sculpture group is in my opinion the place to help each other with all acpects of the creative process.
Items of general interest could for instance be how to do mold making if you need multiples (I include a photo of salted liquorice, cast in resin in this silicone mold, to be used in a typical Dutch artwork), but I can invent 100 other Sculpting subjects to share and discuss with you!
Please let me know what you think....
Louk, it's great to have you as a member of our Sculpture Group. Your sculptures are very inspiring and I admire the variety of techniques and processes you use! Please do share and discuss anything you feel is interesting and relevant to making 3-D art. This is a new group so there are only a few members but in time it will surely grow. Thank you for being a Sculpture Group "pioneer" and helping get this group going!
I am interested to be instructed by you :)
Yes, I definately and personally need help in acquiring some knowledge for the creation of molds and what are the best materials. Did some research and reading, but unfortunately I can't get hold of everything that is needed for mold making (for creation of multiples) and not everything can be shipped to over here.
So would appreciate any help or assistance you can provide me. Up till now, have used polymer clay for the actual mould, and air-drying clay for the copy...
Any other of the 99 subjects that you can invent for sculpture, just count me in to participate :D
P.S. this was a great idea
