carrying paintings to art shows

Started by Judy Lynn. Last reply by Judie Martinez Aug 30, 2015. 9 Replies

I have 30 acrylic paintings to carry to a local show on 9/18. I've never had to transport that many paintings. The smallest is 11x14 and largest 16x20. There's an art festival 9/12 too, so I'd like a reusable (inexpensive) solution. Any advice?

Hi Alexis, I use for my cards and for prints, you do need good photos for any printing though, i also use for photo adjustments, its an online version of something like photoshop, also Asda do very good and reasonable price giftbooks of your own photos, hope this helps x

I usually sell only originals of my work- but lately I have had several inquires about making prints, cards, and even a gift book of my work.

Problem is I don't have a program like Photoshop to set my resolution to  the required size.

I tried to use Vista print to make cards and prints but a dialog box comes up that says the picture does not meet the required dpi  and could bleed or be a poor copy once printed.

Any suggestions of how to acquire prints and cards?

Has anyone tried selling on the Artist Daily web site? They seem to have a pretty good program but have no personal knowledge.

I was wondering about what rights I have as an artist and copy write protection.  I have so much art floating around, what is to keep a person from selling my art to a business for profit?  If I am commissioned to paint a piece, does the person buying the art have the right to sale it?   I would really appreciate some insight on this.
