Great work on this john,  the look very like  the uks  much small long eared owl , i saw 3 flying about in the day  when i was fishing . A few minutes  later  along came a couple of men with air rifles who were hunting them.  I don't  know what they found the way i sent them  because the last i saw of the owls they were going in the opposite  direction

We have these owls in our area as well. Well done on the drawing, John. It shows exactly the way the owl would look at you with that 'lunch or dinner?' look predators seem to have. :)
