Getting back into painting, February 2015, didn't do any last year

Beautiful picture,flowers are captured so well,fields like this are where my free days are spent.

Really nice... Even seeing it full size on my screen, I can't work out how you did the dandelion heads. If you have been out of painting, it is good that you are back because this is excellent.

Thank you so much for all your encouraging comments. I actually made this one up painting a sky and the hills and field appeared and then finding reference photos for various grasses and wildflowers I painted them into the foreground, so son suggested putting a building in the distance and I found an image of a village and put that in. I like painting nature, particularly wildflowers and weeds which tend to have such great shapes and they are free and on display to everyone!  Allan the dandelions were painted by putting in the centre and then gradually and very softly building up the white bits that fly away when you blow them!!

Infact I took a few photos along the way whilst painting this one so I could put in a couple of photos as it looked along the way if anyone would like to see them?
