Great work pj   each family had it's own pattern 1and when two families  came together in marriage a new pattern evolved.  my granfather came from a long line òf fishermen but they stitched patterns onto oiled sailcloth.

I really like this painting.  I used to knit these sweaters for family members they were interesting to knit.

Painting portraits is a Master's work; portraits in watercolor is extremely difficult. You are truly a Master P.J
