a 24" tall x 36" wide x 2" deep oil on gallery wrapped canvas, recently completed. I found a canvas in a clearance bin at a local art and craft store and painted it with several layers of oil paint sepia tone of my own concoction! I then painted the plane in various tones and scrubbed out highlighted areas with turpentine. It's a bit hard to photo! Slated for a 2018 Aviation exhibit. All my work is done freehand, so this isn't meant to be a technical illustration!
