I can remember a time when I first saw a mobile phone and decided that they'd never catch on, after i made that prediction I threw away my crystal ball. One man has come to a complete stop and doesn't know what to do next as his battery has gone flat on him

Love this Paul. My memories of the old days phones was the red box up the street, press Button A  to speak and Button B to get your pennies back if no one answered, !!

I remember a cigarette advert that went " Your never alone with a Strand" Now it's " Your never alone with an I-phone" How sad. Nice painting Paul. H

Thank suz .

only the other day i was trying to explain about older phones to my grandson how they were connected to walls with the hand set connected with a coiled wire  and you had a round dial with holes  that you turned with a fingerto put the number  in.  He then asked how we took calls in the street and could we take photo's ....i gave up as i'd then have to explain how film cameras worked

Thanks john.. I lost count of how many people I've nearly run down when they've stept in the road in front of me with both earphones pluged in listerning to music  and texting at the same time  . A nice long blast on the hooter normally wakes them up
