Today Dani and granddaughter Bella came for a visit and a bit of dog therapy, although rusty has sniffed her before this is the first time Bella has reached out for him, she's not worried in the slightest when he barked and didn't even blink.
Our son Rob works in London looking out the window in his office you can see HMS Belfast moored on the river Thames today while his daughter was having dog therapy with us they'd layed on dog therapy at work , a group had come into the building with a load of dogs and were going through the offices so people could stroke them and lower stress in a hope it increase productivity and down time due to stress,
Their ways to increase productivity are very different from where I worked, they tried to take away any home comforts and pile on the pressure, it didnt work very well with me as as my ability to find faults went into overdrive and it cost a fortune for the parts for all the vehicles that I'd taken of the road waiting for fault repairs

My Goodness how Bella has grown.  She looks ready for school.    I recall when David was about 6/7 and ship mad.  There was a modern homes exhibition at the SECC and HMS Belfast was moored on the Clyde a short walk away.  David thought he was going to the Modern Homes and was not a happy lad.   However when we crossed the bridge towards HMS Belfast and we told him this was a surprise for him he was thrilled. I think he was actually jumping for joy.

10 weeks make a lot of difference in a babies life  mum must be feeding her only gold top milk. I've  never been on the Belfast  and for years I had tickets that would have got me on free.  I managed  with difficulties  get around part of ww2 frigate  at Chatham historic dockyard  and i even went inside hms ocelot one of the diesel submarines about 15 year ago bu as my mobility has gone down my waist  line has increased  so theirs no chance of me squeezing through  the hatches let alone  moving along  the gangways now. For some reasons  they dont make  warships disable compliant.  I suppose they could  always shove me in a shell lift to get me from the gun decks to the lower decks for a look around
