thanks, yes it is acrylic. Haven't tried oils yet.

someone asked me what this painting means to me. The Lion of Judah is a symbol for Jesus Christ. When I was painting this I was thinking about the power of Jesus and the power that he gives us. The bible says that the wicked flee but the righteous are as bold as a lion. I look at this painting and I am reminded that I can do anything in Christ, because as long as my intentions are pure I have the boldness to do anything.
