After i left colchester I headed north a bit more just below the Suffolk essex border I had no idea where I was heading , I was looking at the countryside ans villages. I went through lots of little villages, many have remained almost unchanged for 3 or 4 hundred years apart from the roads. You can see how many time the roads have been resurfaced because of the doors of some some of the very old houses are less than five foot high
As I headed home through the countryside john constable famous with paintings like flatford mill the shdows were getting very long. It was 120 to 140 mile round trip for a burger and a coffee that i could have hot in town. Here was a quick watercolour done before i nodded off in my chair

Thank you he's  a great little character  but at times he's  too close to me, every time i turn around i nearly trip over him
